Cherinn's Birthday Party Rocked The House Down!!!!

Yeah baby! It was awesome!

It was memorable and crazy.

Woke up early on Saturday morning!

Just to see Jed and Joachim run for our school's Sports Day.

I'm such a good friend.... :P

It was fun.

Then it was Jed and Joachim's event.

They were participating in the 400 x 1 or something.

I can't really remember what it's called.

All I know is that they have to pass the baton after 100 metres?

Anyway, halfway through the race,

after Joachim passed the baton to Jed, Jed fell.

According to Jed,

He crashed into Dylan who was in his lane!!!

Poor Jed... Bruised.

I arrived at TGIF together with Su Yi at 7.30p.m.

Yvonne was right behind us.

We hugged.

Carinn, Sarah and Hui Yin were there already.

And I thought I was early!

Cherinn :)

There was a lot of food!

I couldn't finish mine!!

Hehe...

We took a lot of pictures and did la-la poses.

It was HILARIOUS!

Then, the wildest part of the party was when the cake arrived.

After Carinn and I blew out the candles,

poor us were smeared with cream!!!!

It was crazy.

And everyone started running.

Anyway, my day started really bad.

When I reached school, I put my bag down and proceeded to halau

4 Bijak.

Su Yi and Siti came screaming Happy Birthday and hugging me!

They're just the sweetest.

Then the rest of the day was just normal.

Just with a lot of people wishing me happy birthday.

I wake up to the sound of music

and sleep to the sound of music.

Yup, music is part of my life.

I don't know how my life will be like without music.

Anyway, a very good friend of mine, Othniel, just reminded me

last week that I'm gonna be an "auntie" soon.

Yup. AUNTIE.

I'm gonna be a year older soon.

How time flies.

It was just a few years ago that I entered secondary school

and I'll be leaving secondary school this year.

I'm gonna miss all my friends.

Hey guys, remember those times where we use to say

"I don't friend you anymore"

every time we had a little fight or disagreement?

And when we all HAD to have a Shaker Mechanical Pencil

cause it was IT thing?

The times when we use to make fun of our English teacher?

I kinda forgot his name.

And lastly, remember the LAST day of primary school?

T.T

So much have changed.

For the better.

We're not so childish anymore, right?

Life was so simple back then.

Now, we'll be taking our SPM later this year.

We're all OLD!!!!!

Went for Convent's Carnival last Saturday with my AWESOME

friends,

Othniel, Jieyang and Joachim.

Othniel and Jieyang decided they wanted to WALK to Convent.

So I took a cab with Joachim.

We reached there and I called Carinn!!

Hugged her straight away when I saw her.

I miss her everyday.

We walked around Convent's field.

Under the hot sun.

After that we had this water fight thing.

It was so much fun.

Oh, before going to Convent,

something really worth telling my grandchildren and

great grandchildren ( if I get to live that long) happened.

We got caught by our discipline teacher!!!!

Me, Jie, Jed and Oth.

Cause we were in the classroom talking.

And the door was locked.

And the discipline teacher heard us talking and tried to open the door.

Realising that the door was locked,

she started to shout demanding that

we open the door.

When we opened the door,

she asked why the door was locked.

In a very suspicious tone.

Cause maybe I was a girl and they were guys.

So she thought we were doing something bad.

I know you know what I mean.

She then took our names and said she was going

to give it to Pn. Khaltom(however you spell it).

I was so scared.

My first time getting my name written down by a discipline teacher.

I'm a very good girl. ;)

The guys told me not to worry.

Jed then had a brilliant idea. To explain to Pn. Khaltom first.

Luckily she understood.

And I was relieved.

Now I'm glad that incident happened.

A great experience.

Right guys?

So next time when we meet in say, 6 years,

we can go

"Remember the time we got caught by bulldog?"

First week of school is OVER!!

I survived the first week of school!

It's kinda alright, except for the waking up at 6am

and finishing all the holiday homework.

Time passed so slowly in school this week.

I kept looking at the clock every 5 minutes just praying that time would pass faster.

Yvonne and Suhanya moved to 5 Bijak because they preferred the teachers there.

So, I'm left all alone!!

Nah, I'm just kidding.

I still got other friends in this class.

It's all cool.

Today was Yong Ming's 41st annual dinner.

Held in Paragon Hotel.

The reason why I wore a freaking dress to Omega.

But surprisingly, I didn't feel like an outcast.

Or some weirdo.

The dinner was nice.

It wasn't a buffet this time.

And the emcee was funny.

Plus the only game they played was HILARIOUS!

The men had to put a cup in between their legs

and the ladies had to spray water from the water gun into the cup!

There was also a talent time where 9 of the staff sang.

Daddy and Uncle Kim sang on stage.

Uncle Alan and Aunt Diana did some dance on stage too!

It was really nice.

Uncle Edmund was the singer for the whole event.

I didn't really take a lot of pictures because I forgot to charge my camera!

I totally forgot about today's event.

School has started.

Once again.

Yup, school started a three days ago.

I'm pretty darn sad.

Two reasons:

1. Holidays are over... No more slacking. SPM ringing in my head everyday.

2. All my close friends are in different classes. It's not the same as last year...

I'm actually still in the holiday mood.

Haven't really gotten used to waking up early too...

I think I snoozed my alarm like 100 times before I actually get up.

And when I reach home, I sleep for another 3 hours.

Jiew Ann's birthday is next week.

I still don't know what to get her.

Any ideas people?

Suhanya's birthday is coming soon.

29th of January.

TIme to go shopping!!

Wheee!!

I really hope that I'll have lotsa fun this year.

Got to go do History homework now.

I'M BACK!!

RYLA WAS AWESOME!!

I had the time of my life there.

Made so many new friends and learned a lot!!

Time flew so fast over there.

4 days just went by in a blink of an eye.

I miss all the new friends I made there.

This is what happened there.

DAY 1

Woke up at 9 something!!

Reached there at around 10++

Met Erica, Zhi Ying and Cassie at the Clock Tower.

The bus stopped at an Orang Asli Village.

We helped to give out clothes and food there.

The most shocking discovery I made was that they DON'T wash their clothes.

They just hang it out under the sun so that

the UV ray will kill the bacteria.

We had some terrible lunch on the ground after that.

After lunch, we got back into the bus to go to Tanjung Sutera Resort,

where we will be spending our next 3 days there.

In the meeting room,

we were assigned our roommates.

My roommates were AWESOME.

They were, Zhi Ying, Tzu Mi and Yi Lin.

We settled in our room for a little while then made our way back to the meeting room.

After that we were broken up into groups of ten.

I was in GROUP NUMBER ONE!! WOOT!!

My group members were, Rina, Prieyaa, Rageve, Lu Ee, Bryan, Rayson and Hadi.

They all rock.

We made our group cheer and banner.

We were the PINK RANGERS.

After dinner we presented our group cheer and all.

Our group banner! It's gone though, thanks to our group leader. =(

DAY 2

We woke up so early on day two.

6.00am!!!

All of us dragged our feet to the toilet to get ready.

Had torturing exercise with some gym guy from Clarck Hatch.

After breakfast we had our sessions and all.

We had a clown session where we learned on how to become clowns.

We went for beach trekking!!!

It was so much worse than the morning exercise!!

Zhi Ying fell 3 times.

I nearly died.

Cause I almost fell down the slope/cliff where there were rocks and water below.

Luckily Zhi Ying and a guy managed to grab my arm.

THANK YOU GUYS!

Rina got stung by a bee.

A lot of people got stung by bees.

Joseph had thorns in his hand cause he held the thorny plant for others.

How sweet...

We were glad or at least I was glad to make it out alive.

After that, we washed up and had more sessions with speakers.

Then we had supper and our group met up to discuss on what to do

for talent night.

We stayed up until 12.30am.

Telling racist jokes and laughing our asses off.

DAY 3

We woke up at 6.00am again.

Had the torturing exercise again.

Then we had breakfast and continued more session with rotarians and speakers.

Then after tea break we had Session 10 which was

Sexual Reproductive Health and Sexual Responsibilities that got

everyone giggling.

Especially the boys, which was their most favourite session I think.

After that session, our group got together for 2 hours to rehearse for talent night.

We had a BBQ dinner after rehearsing.

It was nice.

Ate with Rina, Bryan and Rayson.

After dinner was Talent Night!

Our group was the first to perform.

We did great. :D

After exchanging number and all,

we went star gazing!!!

The sky was FULL OF STARS!

I missed quite a number of shooting stars.

But after a while I saw so many shooting stars!!

It was soo AMAZING.

My first time seeing a shooting star.

Everyone was so amazed.

We stayed up until 2am or at least Joe, Bryan and me.

My other friends went to bed already.

When I reached my cabin I realised that my roommates haven't slept yet.

So I went to bathe and sang in the toilet along with them who

were singing in the room.

We sang like crazy after I bathed and didn't let Zhi Ying sleep!

It was so funny!

We did the Chicken Dance and the Watermelon dance and

all the things we learned in the camp.

At 3.00am, we finally went to bed.

DAY 4

We woke up at 6.00am again.

We were so tired since we only had 3 hours of sleep due to the craziness the previous night.

We went for a walk in the village and walked at the jetty.

Did some laughing yoga.

And had our last session of the day.

Through this camp, I made a whole bunch of new friends.
Tzu Mi, Yi Lin, Jessica, Rina, Rayson, Bryan, Zi Qing, Li Chin, Joe and so much more!!

I'm glad I went for this camp and I no longer blame RYLA
for ruining my overseas trip.
Cause I know I made better memories during RYLA compared to the memories
I'll make overseas.

These memories we shared together will always be tattooed in my heart.
This camp was really once in a life time.

Uncle Kee and Aunty Chee Chow are finally BACK!!!

After so many years in London.

6 years I think.

I still can't believe that they're back.

Anyway, we went out for dinner today.

We decided to eat in Peikin.

Ku Ma ordered a lot!

Some of the staff working in Peikin was talking to Aunt Chee Chow.

Oh, and the owner too.

I think everyone enjoyed their dinner very much.

Just look at the crab.

Too busy eating to notice the camera.

After the dinner,

everyone came over to our house.

We ate fruits and drank coffee until 11pm.

We also took a few more pictures too.

Well, bottom line is,

I'm very glad we had this dinner today.

It's nice to see Uncle Kee and Aunty Chee Chow again.

I've been listening to Angel by Sarah McLachlan a lot lately.

That song brings back a lot of memories.

Good and bad.

She has a really good voice.

Powerful and with a lot of expression.

I cried when I heard this song.

And I'm not exaggerating.

Mostly it was because it reminded me of the death of my grandfather.

Though its been a few years now,

it's still plays vividly in my head at times.

Well, guess this is life.

Everyone has to go through it.

Though our food came really, really late, it was fun.

Played a few games and talked.
